Charles Bridge in Prague, Czech Republic – Our Wonderful Experience

Charles Bridge 1As you may have noticed in several other posts, in May of 2018 we spent two weeks in Europe. We had a great time running around Germany and Austria. We also spent a couple of days in Prague, Czech Republic. There were a few things I wanted to see while in the area. However, the Charles Bridge was on the top of my list. It looked amazing and couldn’t wait to check it out. Sadly the weather was unpredictable. It was hot and sunny one minute, then overcast and cloudy the next. Jackson Square in the French Quarter – New Orleans, Louisiana

Jackson-Square-Statue-1No trip to New Orleans is complete without a visit to Jackson Square in the French Quarter.  Thus we made sure to check it out while in the area, December 2017. The square was designed after the famous 17th-century Place des Vosges in Paris, France, by the architect and landscape architect Louis H. Pilié. and is roughly the size of a city block.
