While in Little Rock, Arkansas we did a lot of exploring, and enjoyed checking out the Arkansas River. One of the cool things we saw was the Junction Bridge near the Clinton Presidential Library. Originally built as a railroad bridge in 1884, Junction Bridge was then rebuilt in the 1970’s and was eventually converted into a pedestrian bridge in 2008. It is a life-span bridge crossing the Arkansas River and ties together the towns of Little Rock and North Little Rock. Continue reading “Junction Bridge and Riverfront Park – Little Rock, Arkansas”

William Clinton Presidential Library and Museum – Little Rock, AR
While on a road trip to Little Rock, Arkansas for my birthday in October of 2020 we decided to check out the William Clinton Presidential Library and Museum. Politics aside, we had visited the Arkansas State Capitol building and we just thought it would be cool to see the museum while in the area. We had never been to one before. Sadly we still haven’t really, as it was closed (Ugh, I think you can guess why) but we still checked it out from the outside and took some pictures of the library/museum and the beautiful area surrounding the building. Arkansas State Capitol in Little Rock – The Natural State
For my birthday in October of 2020, we had to change plans (for the third time, 🙁 ) and did a road trip to Arkansas. The main reason was to see the Arkansas State Capitol, which was actually open, and it was the only state we hadn’t been to this is west of the Mississippi River. Not sure how that happened during all of our travels in the south, but we hadn’t been yet. Thus we were very happy to be able to explore this state and the capitol building.

Alabama – Georgia – US States Number 1 Through 10
ALABAMA – GEORGIA
We have traveled a lot throughout the US and have actually been to 41 of the 50 States. Thus I decided to share some information about each state as well as the state road sign. If we didn’t get to a state sign yet (or forgot to get one while we were there), I have posted another picture of a state sign and will replace it once we have pictures. In the meantime, please enjoy the information on the states from Alabama-Georgia. FYI, these are in alphabetical order.
