Omaha, Nebraska – My Top 7 Things on Our to-do List

OmahaIn June of 2019 we were heading to Omaha for a few days before I continue on to Des Moines, IA for the LWMS convention. We have been through Omaha once before, but never explored the area. We did go to watch an Angels vs Royals AAA affiliate teams play a game at Rosenblatt Stadium before it was torn down to make more room for the zoo. Other than that, it is a new city to us. Thus I decided to do some research and find some fun things to do while we are in the area.  While a few charge a small fee, many of them are free. Staten Island Ferry – Free Manhattan to Staten Island Ferry

Staten Island Ferry 1The free 24-hour Staten Island Ferry is considered by many New Yorkers as a lifeline for making their way from NYC’s southernmost borough, but it also has some of the finest views in the world. From the ferry, you can see the Governors Island to the east and Ellis Island and Lady Liberty to the west, as the Manhattan skyline recedes in the vessel’s wake. Sounds like something that is definitely worth the price of admission, lol

Tropical Drinks on Oahu, Hawaii – My Top Four Favorites

Tropical Drinks - MiscThere are some great things that come in fours, but my most recent favorite four things come in the form of liquids drinks, lol. I am not a huge drinker, but we were on Oahu, in December of 2016, and how can you not like all the amazing tropical drinks on the islands? While many were good, there were four that stood out to me more than the other drinks.  I think I drank six months’ worth of drinks I would usually drink all in one week, lol.
