The Walker Art Gallery Museum – Liverpool, England

Walker Art Gallery - FrontI love art as you can probably tell from some of my posts such as  The Musée d’Orsay Museum,  Art Institute in Chicago, and many more. You may also notice that I really enjoy impressionism art, and had to visit the Walker Art Gallery when we were in Liverpool, England. I had never heard of it until we were talking to some locals in Manchester who told us we had to visit if we liked art. Thus, we took some time one day to explore the museum. Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens – Florida

Ormand Memorial Art GardenAs I wrote this in June 2017 we were in Daytona but were getting ready to head south to Orlando. We had a great time exploring the area and doing some of the local activities, including the beach. 🙂  One of the places we visited was the Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens.  We had been at The Casements and The Rockefeller Gardens earlier, and it was just a short walk from there. I am so glad we decided to visit. They were absolutely amazing, even if it was incredibly hot and muggy (it is a rainforest after all, lol). The highlights were all the amazing plants and animals we saw while walking around. Continue reading “Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens – Florida”

I am talking about Paris and the city of lights. One of the things I enjoyed seeing the most amazing collections of impressionist and post-impressionist art in the world. While the Louvre is amazing, there is one place I enjoyed more, The Musée d’Orsay.  I fell in love with this museum. Continue reading “The Musée d’Orsay Museum – 19th Century Art, Paris”

Art Institute Chicago, Illinois – Amazing Impressionist Art

Art Institute Chicago 1As I have shared in a few posts, I really love impressionist art, and Monet is my favorite. I really enjoyed the Muse de Orsay in Paris. So while we were in Chicago in June of 2016, one of the top 5 things I had to do was to explore the Art Institute Chicago.  I had been to Chicago a few years ago, but all the impressionist art was on loan to a museum in Texas. I was disappointed but knew I’d be back and be able to see their collection. Continue reading “Art Institute Chicago, Illinois – Amazing Impressionist Art”
