In November of 2017, we celebrated our 25th dating anniversary and did a staycation. Since we wanted to stay close, we decided to stay at the Hyatt Place Boulder in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. On previous adventures, we had stayed at a couple of other Hyatt properties in Denver, the Grand Hyatt, and the Hyatt Regency. However, we had never stayed at a Hyatt Place. Thus we were excited to be able to spend some time checking out this newer hotel. Continue reading “Hyatt Resorts – Hyatt Place Hotel in Boulder, Colorado”
As Hyatt Reward members we have stayed at a few Hyatt locations, however, none of them have been as nice as the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa. It is located on Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki and has to be one of the most incredible hotels in the Hyatt Brand. We had stayed at the Andaz on 5th Avenue in New York which was really nice, but this one blew me away. The Aloha Spirit was evident as soon as I walked into the hotel in December of 2016. As we headed toward the front desk at least 3 employees nodded and said aloha, and one of them offered me a drink of water or pineapple Iced Tea. It was very tasty. It was a very nice welcome. As a Hyatt reward member, we have stayed at a few resorts in their brand, but had never stayed at a Hyatt House until last weekend. We had a phenomenal stay at one of their newer resorts, the Hyatt House, Downtown Seattle. We were in Seattle in February of 2017 to celebrate a belated Valentine’s day celebration, and it was a perfect location as it was literally across the street from the iconic Space Needle. A few years ago we joined the Hyatt Reward program, and this year we decided to use some of our free nights. We also stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Denver while celebrating New Year’s Eve. In actuality, we have stayed at three different properties since we joined their program and found each one wonderful and quite unique. Hope you enjoy learning more about each of these hotels in the coming weeks. I am starting this series with our latest stay at the Hyatt Regency in Denver.
As I stated in my Hyatt Regency, post we joined their reward program and have visited a few hotels since then. The Grand Hyatt in Denver is the one hotel of this brand that we have actually been to multiple times, mostly for their Rockin New Year’s Eve party hosted by Mix 100. This was also the hotel that introduced us to their reward program! Continue reading “Hyatt Resorts – Grand Hyatt in Denver, Colorado”
A few years ago we joined the Hyatt Reward program and have enjoyed using it a few times. Just for signing up, we received two free nights, which was great. After some debate, in October of 2015, we decided to use them in one of the most exciting places, NYC. While in NY, we spent two amazing nights at the Andaz on 5th Avenue right across from the Stephen Schwarzman Library. While we have stayed at three different properties since we joined their program, and found each one wonderful and quite unique, there was just something special about the Andaz.
