Daytona Beach 2In June of 2018, we were in Florida for the LWMS Convention in Orlando. We went out a few days early and spent 4 nights in  Daytona Beach. It was amazing, and we had a great time. We were able to tour the Casements and Rockefeller Gardens, Daytona International Speedway, Angell and Phelps Chocolate Factory,  as well as Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens. However, the highlight of course was the amazing Daytona Beach. I want to share some history of Daytona as well as some of our Daytona Beach Photos and a short video. The Casements & Rockefeller Gardens – Ormond Beach, Florida

Casements FrontWe recently returned from a trip to the hot and humid state of Florida. It was June of 2017 and way too muggy for me, lol. Other than that, we had a really nice time, especially in the Daytona area. One day while in Ormond Beach checking out the Ormond Memorial Art and Gardens, we were able to do a tour of The Casements and Gardens. Sadly I admit that I had not heard of this place until doing research for our trip, however, I am so glad we visited it while in the area in June of 2017. Angell and Phelps Chocolate Factory – Daytona Beach, Florida

Angell and Phelps StoreWe had a nice time in Daytona, even if it was hot and humid. Heck, it was June 2017, so we weren’t surprised, lol. One of the things we did on one of the hotter days was taking a tour of Angell and Phelps Chocolate Factory.  Since we have done the Hammonds Candies tour here in CO, and the Jelly Belly Candy Tour in CA, we figured it would be similar.
