Charles Bridge in Prague, Czech Republic – Our Wonderful Experience

Charles Bridge 1As you may have noticed in several other posts, in May of 2018 we spent two weeks in Europe. We had a great time running around Germany and Austria. We also spent a couple of days in Prague, Czech Republic. There were a few things I wanted to see while in the area. However, the Charles Bridge was on the top of my list. It looked amazing and couldn’t wait to check it out. Sadly the weather was unpredictable. It was hot and sunny one minute, then overcast and cloudy the next. Lego Store in New York, NY – Only the Best is Good Enough

Lego SignOn our recent trip to NYC, we enjoyed checking out the Union Square Holiday Market as well as many famous landmarks. So we had to make sure to go visit the Flatiron Building. While in the area, we saw the Lego store right across the street. My little 5-year-old nephew is obsessed with Lego products, so of course, I had to go in and see what he would like. It was close to Christmas after all, lol

Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California – Remarkable Views

Hearst Castle - FrontWe have been through central California many times while we lived there doing wine tasting etc. However one of the more interesting things we did was in June of 2010 on our way home from visiting Alcatraz in San Francisco. While we were driving through the area, we decided to stop and finally take a tour of Hearst Castle. We had been through this area many times but had never taken the time to stop and visit.
