In June of 2018, we were in Florida for the LWMS Convention in Orlando. We went out a few days early and spent 4 nights in Daytona Beach. It was amazing, and we had a great time. We were able to tour the Casements and Rockefeller Gardens, Daytona International Speedway, Angell and Phelps Chocolate Factory, as well as Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens. However, the highlight of course was the amazing Daytona Beach. I want to share some history of Daytona as well as some of our Daytona Beach Photos and a short video. Angell and Phelps Chocolate Factory – Daytona Beach, Florida
We had a nice time in Daytona, even if it was hot and humid. Heck, it was June 2017, so we weren’t surprised, lol. One of the things we did on one of the hotter days was taking a tour of Angell and Phelps Chocolate Factory. Since we have done the Hammonds Candies tour here in CO, and the Jelly Belly Candy Tour in CA, we figured it would be similar. Surprisingly it was quite different.
